Uppsatsen behandlar ämnet genus och genusframställningen i barnböcker nu, och för 50 år sedan. För att komma fram till ett resultat har två analysmetoder använts, Nikolajevas mimetiska metod samt en semiotisk bildanalysmetod. Resultatet visar att det skett en förändring av genusframställandet i barnböcker de senaste femtio åren och att den största förändringen skedde i mitten på 60-talet..

Emhart Glass is the world?s leading manufacturer of equipment, controls and components to the glass container industry. The goal of this project has been to identify improvements and propose cost saving solutions when moving one of Emhart Glass work cells in Sundsvall. The changes shall result in improved work environment and increased product quality. The method contains value stream mapping, concept selection and P-FMEA and complies with Emhart Glass goal to become a more Lean focused business.

Det här arbetet handlar om flow och hur begreppet samverkar med olika aktiviteter i våra liv. Bakgrunden till flow förklaras inledningsvis i kapitlet om teoretisk bakgrund och sätts senare i relation till inre förändring, socialt samspel, fysisk aktivitet, kommunikation, samt pedagogik. Syftet med arbetet är att ge svar på hur flow kan användas i undervisning. Som metod för datainsamling har jag gjort en gruppintervju med fyra lärare aktiva vid Musikhögskolan i Malmö. Gruppintervjun fungerade som ett vardagligt samtal mellan fyra personer och resultatkapitlet är sammanställt i sex rubriker: Introduktion; Personernas uppfattning om flow; Vägar till flow och hinder på vägen; Gruppflow; Flow, kvalitet och kommunikation; samt flow och undervisning.

Det här arbetet presenterar César Francks orgelverk Grande Pièce Symphonique på ett konkret och relevant sätt för en utövande musiker såväl som en aktiv åhörare. Den största delen av arbetet utgör min tematiska analys vilken är till stor hjälp vid förståelsen av styckets innehåll och kvalitéer. Arbetet tar också upp relevant information om kompositören, den franske orgelbyggaren Aristide Cavaillé-Coll och instrumentet i St. Clotilde för att förstå det klangliga material som stod till tjänst för kompositören. Slutligen har jag lagt konstnären, kompositören, instrumentet och den tidens musikaliska praxis till grund för min interpretation av César Francks orgelverk Grande Pièce Symphonique..

In this project forging of aluminum alloy Al 6026 T9 has been performed in the temperature range of 400 °C ? 470 °C. The alloy which was in the shape of a cylindrical billet was formed in a press with the aim of analyzing the effect of different forging temperatures and required press load for optimal die filling. The component?s dimensions were later measured and compared to a reference piece.

Analysis of the piece Pygmalion in set at the Gothenburg City Theatrefrom a gender perspective with the purpose to investigate which genders that arepresented and how the piece relates to the heterosexual norm. The method consists inthe analysis and discussion of how the pieces portrays females and males (with focuson feminine and masculine coded expression and presentation of desire) and whatconsequences it brings. This based on various method books of norm-breaking designwork for Aesthetic staff, and a theory based on Judith Butler's research. Primarymaterial consists in a piece analysis of Pygmalion, from a spectator's perspective.Main Results: The designing is consciously working with a set of norm-breakinggender expression, particularly female genders. The set translates socially criticalviews against patriarchal hierarchies.

We are always surrounded by space, not just only in a room with four walls, but also when we are outdoors.Constantly we move in a flow of space that changes whenever we move. Unaware we are affectedby this threedimensional surrounding of ours, and it reacts with our perception. Many times, we chooseto translate it into something two-dimensional, for example when we take a photo, recording a movie orframing a view with a window. It helps us to catch a moment, a piece of reality and restore it in our ownway. The objective of this thesis is to map the resources and methods used at the department OPPC, at AstraZeneca, and derived from that give suggestions on possible solutions that will increase their productivity.Mapping of the product flow, as well as gathering of process data, has mainly been done using observations, but consultation with the process technicians has also played a great role. Further have theoretical methods been used, based on literature studies, within the areas of Lean production and statistics.The work has incrementally gone forward since the steps taken has been restricted by the irregularity of production which led to the need of creating a fictive production flow. This has affected the lead-time calculations in the way that they are meant to give an indication, rather than an absolute truth, on how different methods described shall be used.The current state analysis showed multiple areas of improvement when defining capacity as value adding time in relation to total throughput time. Using the "standard scenario" as a basis showed that the actual production flow only constituted 50% of the total project time. Further it showed that the workflow contained more non-value adding activities than value adding activities, which is a result of how the work is distributed within the department as well as in the different projects.

Detta  examensarbete  undersöker  skillnaden  i  tre  olika  nybörjargruppers  upplevda flow  då  de  spelat  Magicka  (2011)  med  motståndarantal  som  den  enda  skiljande variabeln.   Undersökningen   baseras   bland   annat   på   Csikszentmihalyis   (1990) flowteori och Caillois (2001) teori om att tävlande slutar vara roligt då det  urartar i kaos.  Syftet  med  examensarbetet  har  varit  att  hitta  när  mest  flow  uppstår  då nybörjare på Magicka (2011) spelar mot  en viss motståndartyp, samt om  detta flow bryts  när  för  många  motståndare  introduceras.  Undersökningen  har  visat  att  nio motståndare har resulterat i betydligt mer flow än tre, medan skillnaden mellan nio motståndare  och  18  har  varit  obetydlig.  Examensarbetet  har  dock  inte  lyckats kvantifiera  var  flow  övergår  till  kaos  med  den  testgrupp  och  motståndartyp  som använts.  Framtida  forskning  skulle  exempelvis  kunna  undersöka  på  vilket  sätt  ett varierande  motståndarantal  skulle  påverka  flow  för  en  mer  erfaren  testgrupp  som spelar mot andra motståndartyper..

Starting out as a minor form of amusement, the game industry has become one of the most lucrative andsuccessful in the entertainment business competing against giants such as television, movies and music.As the internal competition within the developer community grows companies work hard at discoveringnew ways to attract and keep customers. By having a playcentric approach focusing on user experiencethey hope to achieve that goal. This thesis describes the process of designing a game with focus on theplayer. We apply the concept of flow on game development and investigate through research throughdesign if we are able to create a game that keeps the player in flow.Play tests showed several elements such as control issues and too difficult challenges early in the game,affecting the possibility for players to experience flow while playing. These negative factors came to becalled flowleakers.

This report deals with the performance of a batch flow treatment of landfillleachate compared with a continuous flow system. The parameters in focus were total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN), BOD5 and COD. The pilot-scale experiment used eight barrels with a volume of 150 liters. Each barrel was constructed differently concerning its flow, its bed material grain size and its presence of plants or not. Four of the barrels worked in batch mode, thus four in continuous flow mode.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka hur ryttare upplever Flow, och vidare även hur ryttare upplever samspelet inom ekipaget vid Flow. Studien inkluderade 10 kvinnliga informanter (M = 18.7, SD = 1.48) med tävlingserfarenhet som sträcker sig från ingen alls till internationell nivå (Hoppning= 4, Dressyr = 3, Fälttävlan = 2, Ingen tävling = 1). En semi-strukturerad intervjuguide utvecklades utifrån Csikszentmihalyi's holistiska perspektiv på de nio dimensionerna av Flow (Jackson & Csikszentmihalyi, 1999), och data analyserades kvalitativt genom en innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade både att ryttares upplevelse av Flow stämmer väl överens med andra idrottsutövares upplevelse (Swann, Keegan, Piggott och Crust, 2012), och bekräftar tidigare tolkningar av att ridsporten skiljer sig från de flesta andra idrotter genom att utfallet till stor del är beroende av interaktionen och samarbetet mellan häst och ryttare (Beauchamp & Whinton, 2005). Vidare visar resultatet även att samspelet mellan häst och ryttare är en viktig och oersättlig del i upplevelsen av Flow..
